# Unsold Stock Travel: booking terms

Version 1.0. Effective October 6, 2026.

**A demonstration.** Unsold Stock Travel, Inc. is not a real company, and no room is booked. It exists to show how a
booking's terms can be bound to its payment with the Legal Context Protocol (LCP). Bookings are paid in test USDC,
which has no value.

## 1. What you are buying
- A named room type at a named hotel, for the dates and the price shown, sold at a deep discount because it would
  otherwise go unsold.
- Your booking's agreement record holds the hotel, the room type, the dates and the price, and these terms by their
SHA-256. Your payment signs that record.

## 2. Payment and changes
- Paid in full when booked. Bookings cannot be changed or cancelled, and are not refunded: that is why the price is
  low.
- The one exception is section 3: a booking the hotel cannot honour is refunded.

## 3. If the hotel cannot honour your booking
- If your room type is not available when you arrive, the hotel gives you a room of the same or a higher category, at
  no extra charge.
- If the hotel has no such room, you are refunded the full price and paid compensation of half the price, and we find
you a comparable room nearby for the first night.
- If the hotel asks for more than the booked price for the same room and dates, the booked price stands.

## 4. No-shows
- If you have not arrived by noon on the day after check-in, the booking is forfeited and nothing is refunded.

## 5. General
- Unsold Stock Travel may change these terms for future bookings. Each change takes a new version number; a booking is
governed by the version its agreement record holds.
- Questions: this is a demonstration; see integralens.store.
